Biography of Stephanie Trick

Stephanie Trick is an American pianist celebrated as a leading contemporary interpreter of the technically demanding Harlem stride piano and ragtime traditions. A classically trained musician, she is best known for her dynamic four-hands piano duo performances and recordings with her husband, Italian pianist Paolo Alderighi. Described by jazz legend Dick Hyman as "one of the nicest gifts to arrive on the jazz piano scene," she tours internationally to preserve and revitalize early jazz styles.
