Hannes Otahalis an Austrian pianist, celebrated as a master of boogie-woogie who began as a self-taught musician in 1975 and became a "key player" in the international scene, performing major boogie classics with complete ease from the age of 17. He graduated as a fully qualified concert pianist in 1987, which enhanced the virtuosity of his playing, and he has since enjoyed a highly versatile career as Austria's most sought-after country pianist and a collaborator with blues, western-swing, and jazz bands.
